I've used journaling websites for years (LiveJournal, InsaneJournal, etc) but I've never blogged. I expect there's not much difference except that I can private one so that only my friends can read it and I'm pretty sure I don't have that option here. But I figured I'd start because, well, I suppose I have interesting things to say. I'm starting a new job that I think will be one of the most rewarding things I've ever done and I've gotten into some new hobbies that I'm told I'm really good at doing and I want to share them with the world.
So here's to the beginning. My name is Amanda Zachary, I live in central Kentucky, I've been riding horses for nearly fifteen years, I went to school for Radio & Television Broadcasting, I work renaissance faires, I knit chainmaille and I'm the marketing director for Kentucky's largest and Appalachia's only no-kill animal shelter. I'm not entirely sure of what this blog will comprised, but I can promise that it'll be worth the read.
After this first post of course. This one kinda sucks ;]
